50 minutes of live set goodness from the Audio Terrorist collaboration gig with Force 10 at the Catalyst Arts Centre, Belfast. This set has only one pre-released track and includes a good few tracks from my Mantua Festival live set.
There are a couple of minor glitches during the set, although I’m not sure if this was a recording problem or something that wigged out on my computer. Pretty clean though.
[…] There’s a load of new photos uploaded after the Catalyst Arts Centre gig, as well as a new free download of my live set. […]
hey there Alex, I just listened to your live set from the catalyst gig. I really enjoyed it. I love the way it sounded bird sing song and later like a rocket engine. On a journey from inner space to outer space with a jungle/drum and bassy dance landing.
He he, I may not have the appropriate music tech speak but it captured my imagination. That’s what I like about it : D
Thanks
hey alex,
live set is beautiful, thank you for downloadability
(that disgraceful photo, however…tuttut)
Hey Caroline.
Thanks so much for the feedback!
I don’t go in for “appropriate music tech speak”, so your description speaks volumes to me
Really glad you like it.
Alex
Hey Emma,
Thanks too for the kind words!
If you’d like I can remove the picture
A
probably too late, but yes that’d be very helpful.thanks.
are those trees and birds from leitrim? MINDSCAPE
Hey Emma,
Well I’ve gotten rid of that photo. Hope I didn’t cause any damage.
I’m not one hundred percent sure where those bird sounds have come from.. I’d have to dig around my files.
Mindscape?
thanks….yes, mind(e-)scape
You’re welcome.
Your mind escaped? I hope you found it again. Or else I’m mis-reading that entirely.
weh weh
I’m mis-reading it so?
I’m feeling entirely confused right about now.
hehe…
you 2 are funny.
heh.. and also.. emma, seeing as i see you here, this is what i was telling you to look at (we had a conversation in belfast..)
http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide/
I’ve seen that one somewhere before. Perhaps you showed it to me in fact.
It’s quite interesting to see someone attempt to lay it all out like that (a pretty good job of it too).
I still find it impossible to classify my own stuff. I guess other people have to do that.
Or something..
ishkur’s guide is hillarious. but emma was asking lots of questions about genres so i think it’s an entertaining reference for people…
aye ishkur’s guide is good alright, could loose lots of time there. reminds me i must listen to more italo especially miko mission, classic stuff.
thanks steve, i have found my mind again, so will have a look at that now.
that really is a hilarious and informative site for electronic music ‘tards’ like myself. ishkur is one funny dude. thanks again steve.
happy days
Ebauche,
Writing up now. Will send you proposal this afternoon.
